Truffle picnic

Get ready for an incredible evening on the Parma Apennines with our Truffle Picnic. The location is halfway between Parma and the Cinque Terre, with the possibility of accommodation in our B&B.

You will be greeted with an informative introduction where we will explain everything about truffles: the different varieties, the seasons and everything you would like to know :)

You'll find a cozy picnic with a soft blanket and pillows, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the breathtaking landscape. Taste our delicious homemade truffle snacks and fresh truffles, served as an aperitif (Apericena), all paired with a bottle of wine (Prosecco or similar).

While you enjoy your food, watch the sunset light up the sky with beautiful colors. If you decide to stay a little longer, you can observe the stars under the clear night sky. Don't worry about security: our plantation is fenced.

Join us for a fun and tasty evening of excellent food, surrounded by uncontaminated nature. It's an experience you won't forget!

What's the difference between Group Tour und Private Tour?

The group tour can be shared by up to 10 people (also from different countries). The tasting includes a menu with seven truffle-based dishes and a glass of wine. The food won't be shared with other guests but you'll get to meet and chat with new people.

The private tour is tailor-made for you, based on your wishes, needs and schedule. The experience is guaranteed to be private for you and your family / friends. The menu includes appetizers, a first course, a second course, a truffle dessert, and a bottle of wine of your choice.

What is included in the tour and how long does it last?

The tour includes a guided truffle hunt with our dogs in the truffle farm and woods and a lunch (or dinner, depending on the start time) with the truffles found during the search and our truffle products.

It lasts approximately 3 hours (1.5/2 hours in our truffle farm and woods)

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time will be completely refunded.

Cancellations after the 48-hour cut-off are non-refundable.

What happens in case of bad weather?

In case of adverse weather conditions (including heavy rain), we will be forced to cancel or reschedule the tour.

If we are unable to postpone your tour date, we will offer a full refund, even after the 24-hour cut-off.

We'll get in touch to confirm the booking 24 hours before the start time.

Can I reach you by public transport?

It is possible to arrive by train to the closest railway station (Solignano or Berceto). We can than provide a pick-up / drop-off service for €50 roundtrip (rate valid for up to 4 people)

Is truffle hunting suitable for children?

Yes, our truffle hunting tours are suitable for families and children aged 7 and up.

Can I take my dog truffle hunting?

Although we love dogs very much, unfortunately it is not possible to take your dog during the truffle hunt: our dogs usually do not like it.
